Solving Africa: Book project

Submitted by CheetahBlogger on December 13, 2009 – 4:59 pmNo Comment

JrThis is the story of how a broke and freshly grad-schooled twenty-something embarked on a daring adventure that will change his life forever. On the spur of the moment and with low expectations, he creates the site, www.solvingafrica.com, and asks friends and strangers to fund his trip to Tunisia, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Senegal, Ghana and Nigeria. Within a week, the donations start and the journey begins before he has a chance to change his mind.

The book, Solving Africa looks at the role that individuals can and are having in changing the African continent. It aims not just to entertain as a collection of stories, but also to spark a thought revolution in the way people address the development of the African continent.

Junior Kanu is definitely a new breed of African pioneers called the Cheetah Generation.
